Lead Devops Engineer

Spotware Systems is looking to hire an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the Client Software Continuous Integration and Delivery, while also designing and implementing tools, pipelines, and workflows that automate and streamline software builds, testing, and releases. Additionally, you will mentor a team of DevOps Engineers, collaborate closely with development teams, and establish best practices in Configuration and Release Management.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of DevOps Engineers, ensuring best practices and standards are met.
• Designing and managing advanced CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Overseeing the configuration and maintenance of DEV integration, QA, and PERF/load environments.
• Designing and implementing tools that streamline software configuration management (SCM), integration, and QA processes.
• Installing, configuring, administering, and optimizing application servers and other critical infrastructure components.
• Define, implement, and champion policies to significantly increase the efficiency of our software development and delivery processes.
• Working closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure timely, accurate, and repeatable delivery of software builds and releases.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux (especially RH family)
• Passion for automating processes and strong experience with tools like Ansible.
• Deep experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Strong proficiency in Python, Bash and Groovy.
• Expertise in managing and optimizing configuration and release processes, including experience with tools like Maven (Nexus, Artifactory).
• Strong knowledge of Git Flow and best practices for version control in development and release processes.
• Experience with java applications and monolith services
• Extensive experience working with containerized applications and deploying them using Kubernetes and Docker.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with mobile releases.
• Experience with monitoring systems (Prometheus/Grafana, Zabbix).
• Prior experience working within or leading development teams.
