Data Analyst / Product Analyst
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will analyze product-related data, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations to improve product performance, user experience, and overall business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, and sales to support data-driven decision-making.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze large datasets related to product performance, user behavior, and market trends.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key product metrics (KPIs), such as customer retention, product usage, and user engagement.
- Insights Generation: Create detailed reports and dashboards to communicate trends, anomalies, and insights to stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Work closely with the product team to identify opportunities for product enhancements, optimizations, and new feature development.
- A/B Testing: Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests to measure the impact of product changes and new features.
- Customer Segmentation: Perform customer segmentation analysis to understand different user cohorts and personalize the product experience.
- Forecasting & Modeling: Develop predictive models to anticipate user behavior, product usage, and market trends.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and other teams to inform and align data-driven decisions.
- Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in reporting by maintaining clean and structured data.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in a data analyst / product analyst role / business intelligence, preferably within product teams.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude.
- Experience with data visualization tools, with a strong preference for Power BI.
- Clear understanding of product metrics.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and techniques.
- Proficiency in data querying languages like SQL.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, R) is a plus.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of statistical methods and quantitative data analysis.
- Problem Solving: Ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and solve product-related problems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to data quality and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a tech or e-commerce company.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle and agile development processes.
- Knowledge of machine learning or advanced statistical techniques is a plus.
