Senior DevOps (Back-end)

  • Lead and mentor a team focused on dev infrastructure management, CI/CD, and operational tools.
  • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of development and QA environments.
  • Drive improvements to CI/CD processes to support efficient, scalable deployments.
  • Work closely with DevOps engineers to manage build automation, testing frameworks, and release workflows.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including databases, messaging brokers, caching solutions, and monitoring tools.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring product dashboards and alerts to track performance, availability, and usage.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for environment configurations, CI/CD workflows, and third-party services.
  • Prepare troubleshooting guides and best practices for use by operations, development, and QA teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure management roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with third-party services like databases (PostgreSQL), message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and caching solutions (Redis).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) and logging solutions (e.g., Loki).
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Youtrack).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Background in software development is a plus.
